Working with teachers, Open School BC, area First Nations and historians, the Provincial Capital Commission has produced a number of resources used and enjoyed by educators, students and the general public.

ON-LINE SOCIAL STUDIES UNITS

The PCC has produced two curriculum-based web tools for social studies students.

Learning about the Capital is targeted for Grade 4/5 learners.

Being Victorian is targeted for Grade 10s.

SHORT EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS

The PCC has produced a number of short (2- to 4-minute) videos on the following topics

• Government Institutions of the Capital
• Events that Shaped the Capital and the Province
• Premiers and Politicians
• Key Civic Institutions in the Capital
• Early Personalities
• Communities who settled in the Capital and beyond
• Early Transportation
• Communities with Capital Connections
