Whether it’s a ceremony of respect, a gathering to rejoice or a festivity to mark a special occasion, a province’s Capital is the place for celebrations.

In BC’s Capital, stars of the show have been as diverse as British Columbians themselves – from royalty to rock ’n rollers, symphonies to dragon boats, fireworks to drums.

As home to 10 First Nations, the oldest Chinatown in Canada, and immigrant cultures from around the world, Greater Victoria has much to celebrate.

The Provincial Capital Commission is a proud sponsor of numerous celebrations and events taking place in Victoria throughout the year.
