Weddings and Other Rentals at St. Ann’s Academy National Historic Site

The Provincial Capital Commission operates St. Ann’s Academy National Historic Site as a service to the public. Both the historic chapel (built 1858) and auditorium (built 1910) have been painstakingly restored and are popular sites for weddings, concerts and lectures. Some areas of the beautiful grounds are also available for public or private events. Business Proposals Currently Being Received

Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are currently being prepared for various aspects of planned seismic and structural upgrades beginning this fall at the CPR Steamship Terminal Building, 468-470 Belleville Street. The RFP processes are being coordinated by the Ministry of Citizens’ Services and will be posted on the BC Bid website, www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca. Office and Retail Space for Lease

Currently the PCC has storefront retail space available in the Crystal Garden in the 700-block Douglas Street, a beautiful heritage building located near the Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings, and Inner Harbour. For information, email the PCC at info.pcc@bcpcc.com or call 250-953-8800.

Kiosks on the Inner Harbour

The PCC licenses street-vendor kiosks for seasonal business (May to September) on some of its Inner Harbour properties. For further information, call the PCC at 250-953-8802. Both the City of Victoria (http://www.victoria.ca/cityhall/bylaws_strtvn.shtml) and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (http://www.victoriaharbour.org/f_licensee.php) also have street-vendor licensing programs.

Monthly Parking on the Inner Harbour

The PCC offers daily paid parking at three locations on the Inner Harbour, and monthly parking at two of them (1020 Wharf Street and 254 Belleville Street). To enquire about a monthly parking pass, call Robbins Parking at 250-382-4411.

Sponsorship of Events

Each year the PCC provides cash or in-kind support for some events and programs that align with PCC goals. Please review the PCC’s Sponsorship Policy and complete a PCC Sponsorship Request.
