The Provincial Capital Commission operates St. Ann’s Academy National Historic Site as a service to the public. Both the historic chapel (built 1858) and auditorium (built 1910) have been painstakingly restored and are popular sites for weddings, concerts and lectures. The PCC licenses street-vendor kiosks for seasonal business (May to September) on some of its Inner Harbour properties. For further information, call the PCC at 250-953-8802. Both the City of Victoria (http://www.victoria.ca/cityhall/bylaws_strtvn.shtml) and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (http://www.victoriaharbour.org/f_licensee.php) also have street-vendor licensing programs.
