These vignettes celebrate the historical connections between the Capital and other communities across the Province. Far from being dry history lessons, these self-contained "people stories" focus on some of the fascinating personalities who laid the groundwork for what our province has become today.

The PCC produced these vignettes in 2004-05 for public-service announcements on radio stations throughout BC. They are available not only on this site, but also through the Educators' Resource Centre program of Open School BC.
