The PCC offers a "Capital Award" to all regional Historica Fairs in British Columbia. Regional judges are authorized to make this award to a project that best illustrates a connection between the students' communities and BC's Provincial Capital. In 2006, the first year the award was available, it was presented in 9 of the 12 regional Historica Fairs held in British Columbia
